RE: Northwest Air

RE: Northwest AirThe TA's have to adapt to survive, many won't. % of flights bought cheaply online s increasing significatly. I would not like to own shares in a GDS. A GDS's main reason for existing is now history, the internet does realtime worldwide distribution faster and cheaper they they ever did. They have to adapt to survive, look for new product to distribute, take advantage of the internet (Sabre's Travelocity for example), and what they are going for is more tour packagres or inventory to construct tours from. SCS certainly has a role bringing small companies inventory into these big distribution channels, and back out to the TA's and customers (if we can get our B2C web front ends rolling off the production line). It's all about Tourtek, can we deliver it in quantity with required functionality and reliability? We have delivered TT systems, but not in required quantity, and are still doing core development as the new customers feed back their real-world requirements back to us. Product seems to have potential, I don't know if anyone can predict to what extent this will be realised. We seem to be still waiting to hear that Standard Tours B2C website has gone live, wasn't it due July 23rd???? Idle
