aknahow: you are not seeing the mine because of the ore piles - to use a twist on an old saying. Who cares whether they would have saved even a few thousand dollars by running through labour day? Probably the mill uses processes that have to stay "on" and be continually fed. Important point that you missed is that they have to get that first bullion poured and report on the ores, recoveries, etc. Thats what the market is waiting for.
