Mr. Malcolm Stevens reports
MANDORIN-DIAMOND SEARCH-ADDITIONAL PROJECT-TARGET ANOMALIES IDENTIFIED IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA FOLLOWING THE APPLICATION OF KDC ENDEAVOUR
Mandorin Goldfields Inc. has released an update on the following:
Additional diamond exploration project generated
Continuing of KDC Endeavour under the global exclusive licence held by MGD has resulted in the identification of additional exploration target anomalies.
KDC Endeavour identified a search location in Western Australia and following first-pass geophysical analysis MGD has upgraded the findings to project status.
Exploration permit applications are being prepared to cover 18 exploration target anomalies.
As with the Kingaroy and Croydon diamond projects in Queensland, Australia, generated by the application of KDC Endeavour the exploration target anomalies identified in Western Australia have characteristics consistent with kimberlite and lamporite intrusive sources.
It is most encouraging to note that exploration target anomalies have now been identified in the first three search locations pin-pointed by KDC Endeavour, where high-quality data have been available for geophysical interpretation. KDC Endeavour has identified for MGD in excess of 10 search locations globally.
MGD is very pleased to have a project identified in Western Australia, a geological region with a distinguished history as a producer of diamonds. This is principally due to it hosting the world's biggest producer of natural diamonds "The Argyle diamond mine." The Argyle mine has been wholly owned b Rio Tinto since 2002. Lately the Kimberley Diamond Company has successfully completed the transition from diamond explorer to operating mining company in the Ellendale field, Western Australia.
