WRX Future
WRX FutureWe are on different wavelengths here Clint1 and only the future will prove whether the
company is taking the right approach, as I believe they are. The fundamental problem is a
stalled growth in sales accompanied by some product lines which may have little potential.
My take on the situation is that Telenor owns 25% of the shares of WRX and has 2 very
senior representatives on the WRX board along with other directors who seem to have
credibility. They hired Carlson and undoubtedly had some direct discussions with him
before he was selected concerning what had to be done to get WRX turned around.
Carlson is being paid $225K with a potential bonus of $180K plus stock options. I am
relying on my judgement that these are people who know what they are doing, have a plan
and are executing it methodically. I did not have that feeling about the former
management and am definitely planning to hold my shares for a while to see hoiw the new
team executes the new strategy. So far I am favorably impressed and optimistic. The one
thing I cannot judge or predict is whether the WRX product has enough unique features to
allow it to rise above the competition. Only time will tell..........
