RE: any update on china developments

RE: any update on china developmentsWith respect to the China play, a member of our management team is based in Beijing (Daniel Huang), and our 43-101 technical report is being prepared by Ian McCartney. See note below from press release on Oct 4, 2004. I still expect that this report will be submitted by the end of October, and an update will be released shortly thereafter. The Company has retained Ian McCartney (P.Geo) as a qualified geologist under NI 43-101 regulations to prepare a qualifying NI 43-101 technical report on the Baigou gold project (see September 16 news release). Mr McCartney will be travelling to the project next week with the Company's Chief Geologist for China, Daniel Huang. Negotiations with Liaoning Non-ferrous Geological Bureau (the "Bureau") in China for a formal joint venture agreement for the Baigou project are proceeding quickly and management expect both the definitive joint venture agreement and NI43-101 report will be completed and filed with the TSX Venture Exchange in October.
