RE: Update - NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Update - NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"If they refuse to state it publicly, then MAYBE they do have something to hide. Why are they willing to spend hours on the phone with each shareholder but not put out an update ??!!!" I have a lot of symapathy withthe last point TM. Much of what you will hear on calling them is not NR worthy, or not yet appropriate for NR. Some of the stuff is 'current status'. It's relevant, it's interesting if you follow the company, it's largely not NR worthy. A candid Business update would reduce their time on the phone. But at least it is Bob and Pat we are talking to, not Rick who is left to get on with the job in hand. I have found them more candid than ever in recent talks. I heard progress report, acknowledgement of Total delay, no excuses, not false promises. I would have liked to have nailed down when Total will be live and didn't get a date, but that can't be called misleading, and without talking to the programmers involved, I doubt I could get an accurate estimate. As a systems person myself, managers know to take any estimate I make, double it, add a bit then not assume it will comee in on that day. Occasionally I surprise them by bringing things in ahead of schedule, but in this industry, that's the exception. You don't know waht issues you will hit until you get there.
