Last Weekend's Picks...How'd everybody do? I was three for three:
1) ETG: Great volume on Entree as the share price consolidates at a higher level. Waiting for stability agreement from Ivanhoe with Mongolian government and further drilling results from Hugo North. This combined (in any order) with an announcement of drilling by IVN re ETG's Copper Flats should take ETG a lot higher.
2) FR: Announced a large ex-producing silver acquisition on Thursday including mill, 57M ozs of known silver, could be well over 100M ozs. Expecting another acquisition announcement before Xmas. Mgmt took First Quantum from .25 to $15, attempting to do the same here by creating a mid-tier Wheaton-sized pure-silver play. Share price moved up .25 to $2.10. Tight structure.

3) GCF.H Now ROS.V - Share price moved up about 20 cents (split-adjusted) to .90 on light volume, tight structure after 1 x 2 reverse and move up to tier 2. Russian ex-director of the World Bank now the new President and has moved to Toronto. High River Gold mgmt & Russians on BOD. Rumored BIG acquisition ($100's of millions?) in the next month, the first of many, could trade at several multiples of where it is now in the next few months.
4) Bought CGE on a newsletter recommendation (Ron Struthers) Wednesday AM @ .54. Closed bid .65, offer .73 yesterday.
What a great week! Now if only my CNI warrants would do something, IVN warrants have.
