RE: What is going on???".. it is time for a stock split .. make it more attractive to many more blue collar people who are out of price range on this one.. " What do you think that will accomplish? A board lot today costs around 6500. Let's say you split it 2:1. So you get those who can commit 3000 but not 6000. How many will that be? On the other hand you make it less atractive to the investor who is in and out of stocks in the medium term as you increase his commission cost for a $60,000 investment and also for the traders who do provide liquidity. I do expect that the board will do a split somewhere in the 80 to 120 range once the stock is well established in it so that post-split it is unlikely to decline below $40. Maintaining low share prices through splits makes sense for small cap stocks but here we need institutions and substantial investors - their bias is the opposite. BTW, I think your notion of "blue collar" worker may be a bit dated. Many of the trades can much more easily affort a 100 share lot of ECA than vast numbers of white-collared office drudges. JMHO
