RE: selling shares $$$$$$ Stu... I do agree with Ruttan that IR is currently focussed in the right direction... There was absolute carnage in the company's institutional relationships, probably because of Claude Camire . He was long on big promises, innuendo and fluff... In a situation as complex as this business model, that wont get you too far.
The new IR team are much different, they are experienced and pragmatic. They seem to be successfully rebuilding relationships and developing a strategy that is predictable and succinct.
As far as the RobTV and WSJ is concerned... I think the correct strategy is to deliver deals and or results that are worthy of being picked up by major news agencies not only in north america but around the world. That's the point I was making with my last post. The very real potential magnitude of a couple of the impending deals are the kind of things that generate press on their own because they are tangible and address big topical issues. That's the kind of IR you simply cant buy.... it comes with results... and I think they're around the corner (ie: within 6 months ) which is very short term in my investment horizon.
Everyone realizes how hard it is to ignore the day to day, week to week... but that is what's required here. The key is to have the underlying confidence that things are being executed successfully, as soon as management proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt, we're off to the races in a very large way..
hang in there
