Why Silver ?A few things about silver.
It's a surface metal, meaning the further you go down in the ground, the less there is of it. It's the most light reflective metal there is. It's the second best heat conductive metal there is. It has many aniseptic properties and is being used against hundreds of infectious conditions. It's used in making artifical rain. It's also widely used in making explosives which makes it hard to wage war without it. Photography of course and that will continue until they find a way in coping with the degredation of digital pictures. Used widely in making electrical circuits and batteries. Jewerly and Silverware account for about one third of it use. It's used in water purification. It gets consumed, while gold is nearly indestructible. It's also used as "money" and considered to be the "poor mans" gold.
