Zoom
Zoomhadir - I read the news release quickly when it first appeared and it sounded to me like
WRX/Zoom didn't have much to announce beyond the fact that they had formed an
association and that it appears that there is a market out there for their joint services. It
put me in mind of other announcements WRX has made in the past (e.g. the "Public Service
vertical") which conjures up huge potential business but with no specifics about what it
might mean to the future of WRX. In the Zoom case, when I read the announcement, I
could visualize WRX/Zoom becomiong world famous for improving traffic congestion in
cities all over the world. The buzz words "Public Service" conjure up visions of millions of
police cars and ambulances using the WRX system. Unfortunately, none of these broad
announcements seem to be followed by significant orders that would confirm the WRX
product as being the great solution to everyone's problems. Sears seems to be the only
concrete major piece of business done so far. At the risk of repeating myself ad nauseum
we need confirmation in the form of major booked orders and those have to be produced
by the new WRX sales team that is working diligently on our behalf. Bless them in their
endeavours.
