RE: Question?

RE: Question?Current shareholders would likely get shares in the new company , but what is interesting is how Technology Patrnerships Canada & TDK come into play . TDK has a 2.5 per cent stake in iFire Technology Inc. https://www.westaim.com/content.aspx?id=33&itemid=71 From The Westaim Corp 2003 annual report : In 2001, iFire entered into a research and development contribution agreement with the Government of Canada through TPC. Under the agreement, TPC agreed to contribute 28.371% of eligible research and development costs and related capital expenditures incurred by iFire to a maximum of $30 million. In exchange, iFire agreed to pay a royalty to TPC equal to 1.065% of eventual commercial sales of the technology under development. In addition, TPC received warrants to purchase common shares of iFire, representing approximately 0.5% of the current outstanding common shares of iFire. Cheers The Bridgejumper
