Unfortunately it is a subscription paper and the article does not mention anything that people following this story don't know.
Target of 50 Million transactions a year by 2007 as spelled out at last year's AGM looks to be obtainable according to management.
I find this a little bit strange - 40 Billion cheques a year processed and they have 5 of the top 10 banks. To me that sounds like they should be doing a lot more then 50 Million transactions by 2007.
I think they did a great job of grabbing market share though and they have a good base to work from. The target is one at which they will make very good money and may be conservative in light of the potential out there.
