RE: Kotcho or no?Wolffy: You seem plugged in to HPR--what do you think of the Mgmt team--?is it time for the Board Of Directors to due their duty and get new leadership??

Well I'm not "plugged in" to HPR, it's been on my radar for about 6 months and I like to know just who I'm loaning my money to, be it a person or a company. Right now I'm pretty interested in loaning HPR some cash (buy shares).
IMHO the management seems to have their heads on pretty straight as far as field operations go. It's been my experience there comes a time when you end up throwing good money after bad at a problem and it keeps coming back. Kotcho IMO was just that. Better to junk it and start over.
Management is also keeping the options open for the future of HPR and I feel choices are better than being forced into a situation you might not agree with.
Personally I think the lemming mentality and the tendancy of Jr. oil stock holders is to over react to any bad news is the driving force behind the current share price. The spanking for Kotcho isn't quite over yet, but I think it's almost over. I'll probably buy this week as I think the fundamentals are quite sound and the downside is quite small at this point.
The only complaint I could have to the management is the lack of promotion. On the flip side if you compare the success rate of HPR to most other companies it's pretty good promotion on it's own. Let the drill bit speak if you will. I've mentioned HPR to a few other investors and have yet to hear any negative feedback in regards to the fundamentals. IMO that is a sign of good management.
Disclosure: I don't own HPR (yet), nor have I ever.
I don't personally know anyone that works for HPR (The closest would be meeting Joseph Schachter, shaking his hand and having a 5 minute conversation where HPR was touched on for 30 seconds or so. BTW Joseph likes HPR).
I hope that answers your questions Grey.

Wolffy
