Greenland Exploration licence a0350Well it looks as if neither Chad nor Peter picked up the a0350 Greenland license – now named Sarfartuup Qulaa. Hudson Resources was the applicant and has been granted the license for the 89 sq.km. package, until the end of 2009. This little step shaped package is situated in the middle of the play boarding another of Hudson’s licenses as well as that of New Millennium Resources and Cantex.
As to the larger picture, Chuck now has basically taken a land position that boxes in the other two companies. From the Hudson/ New Millennium land north to the Kangerlussuaq fijord is MTX’s Umiiviit and CD’s Sinarsuk licenses. South of Hudson/New Millennium right up to and it looks like under the Sukkertoppen Icecap is CD’s Tasersiaq License - that is the license where the kimberlite boulder that Chuck and Chad were raving about at the AGM was found. It will be interesting to see how things develop as the MTX/CD JV moves in Greenland in a fairly strong manner.
