RE: if De Beers...................?IF debeers was to bid say $9 tomorrow, shore would likely trade at a small premium to that price as the market would anticipate another bidder entering the fray. If a tender offer is made you don't have to tender your shares unless the bidder gets 90% of the total outstanding shares.
