RE: Why wait"Why wait for releases? Get the truth now get some answers" -kmanisin
Well the board has certainly come to life in the past few days -lol!!!
Good to see honestly held views being expressed both positive and negative. No need to be calling sincere posters derogatory names, like 'fluffer' or some such term, that's simply not mature, polite or respectful.
With respect to Kmanisin's quote above, the theory is good, the exercise, however, is futile(jmvho). The only truth you are likely to get is in the written news releases, and as we can all see, even they have been extremely vague. Verbal communication would be useless, and littered with all kinds of qualifying weasel words to ensure nothing will stick to them(note taking or tape recording aside). I am speaking in general terms here, and have never, repeat never relied upon the words of the average IR person, whose job it is to simply put a positive spin on everything related to their employer's prospects. (That is not part of proper DD). There has been the odd IR person, or company official who will tell it like it is for sure, but they are few and far between. Which category does Alvin 'et al' fall into? You be the judge.
The time to have risen up collectively and been accounted for was at the AGM. Did that happen? - Not likely, by some of the summaries here lately.
Hey, isn't it about time we heard from Scraps??? He usually has a kind word or two to say about the management of this company -lol!!!
This is my last post here, until after the next News Release, and when it comes, it had better darned well contain information on progress with the D-P site or SRW will be my first tax loss sale for 2005!!! (The drills had better be turning!) If they are not able to arrange financing(pros & cons discussed already here), then the company is dead in the water. If they do finance properly, they must bore into D-P immediately to demonstrate a committment to identifying and quantifying the resource there. If they give away D-P to someone else in another lopsided J/V, then I'll go with the outfit that acquires the property and dump SRW immediately. Oh well, enough said, frustration is over for now -lol!
Good luck to all SRW shareholders.
