L4Well stated. I don't think it really matters who the President is if they are incapable of planning a comprehensive investor campaign.
The truth is, Donald Gee has a degree in both accounting & geology, so I'm not sure if we are gaining anything with JR taking the top spot.
To date they have done perhaps the worst job of any junior mining prospect with an existing open mine pit, combined with at least several hundred thousand ounces inferred from the recent drilling, and new information indicating the potential of hitting the mother lode. Even though they have acquired most of the surrounding land in the last several months, they have not convinced the market that they are doing all of these things because they ARE as a company convinced they have the geology to define one of the better commercial mining finds in Peru. Meanwhile a company like TYS, with over 100,000 million shares out can put out comparably poor results and be trading @ $1.70.
If this lack of market expertise continues, it will eventually bite us in the Azz causing undue dilution of the stock through lower priced financings. We have already seen this with the repricing of the last financing which started at $1.50 and ended up being completed at $1.15. This shows me that with a drill holes to date, additional sampling, and new acqusitions, they are inept at showing the market the reason for persuing the Peruvian project. A good junior can sell futures based on good geology and a good drill program.
The only up side right now is that for the people willing to do an extraordinary amount of due diligence they will find that the stock is worth the risk. A mining company prospects through the drill bit with experienced people, and investors looking to find a company with huge upside prospect with their dollars. It's up to the company to show an investor why they should risk their investment dollars on this company.
Hang in there L4 the two guys in charge of drilling these next 12 holes know what they are doing. It's too bad the administration part of the company to date has done such a poor job on their side of the fence.
No doubt I will get the usual fan mail with all the usual comments. Save it for someone who cares. When I see groups with a great reputation walk down the street in Calgary and raise several million dollars at $2,$3, or $4 bucks a share becaus they are ready to start a new project it tells me all I need to know about the job this group is doing. Oh, and BTW, I did say they are able to raise money at those share prices without a project in their pocket.
