RE: share priceAs noted in the press release Brian worked as a General Manager for MPR Teltech (formerly Microtel Pacific research) being the R&D arm for the BC Tel group but operating as a separate entity. There were several product developement teams and managers within the company. A company I was associated with, marketed and distributed an emergency communications product developed by MPR so I was visiting there quite often. The company was sold off in the late 1990's. I think but I'm not sure, Brian headed up one of MPR's spin off Companies after or just before the sell off. I could be wrong so don't quote me on it.
When Brian was the CEO of eDispatch after leaving MPR, I was introduced and made aware of the company by way of a common friend. It would be hard to place what percentage of the realized gains could be attributed to Mr. Ellis' efforts considering the dot.com frenzy at the time, but he certainly brought together and organized the neccessary team and components to produce a viable asset tracking and productivity analysis software which captured alot of market interest. In that sense, his knowledge of outsourcing software was clearly established as the CEO of edispatch. The company was sold to airIQ. I bought into edispatch at .90 and sold in early January at around $27.00 just prior to the collapse. Time frame was 8 months. Brian is very well established and connected to the Telco's and the financial community.
As for his activities after eDispatch, I have little information.
Valuation of sales vs. Market cap; I would have to dig through some old paper work on that, if I kept it. I don't like to give rough figures either. MPR was not publicly traded so the question does not relate.
Time to phone him up
Have a good day
