(A)I didn't realize gas came in barrels. (B) To base your price on ONE DAYS research tells me that you probably read USA Today or some such publication. There is no agreement on when the current oil usage will outstrip production. Of course, until just a couple of years ago, very few people anticipated the rise in Chinas appetite for hydrocarbons. But still it seems that Saudi Arabia has 20 years+ enough oil to satisfy current consumption. Canada's oil sands hold more oil than Saudi Arabia has in the ground. Although the days of $10 a barrel (4 years ago) are probably over I doubt your estimate will happen any time soon. Mind you, $100 a barrel would be the best thing for the health of this planet, but Bush and his cronies are going to make sure that it's not going to happen in their lifetime.
