Invesco Trust for Investment Grade New York Municipals (the Trust) is a closed-end management investment company. The Trust’s investment objective is to provide common shareholders with a high level of current income exempt from federal as well as from New York State and New York City income taxes, consistent with preservation of capital. Under normal market conditions, at least 80% of the Trust’s total assets will be invested in municipal securities. Under normal market conditions, at least 80% of the Trust’s net assets will be invested in securities the income of which is exempt from New York income taxes. Under normal market conditions, the Trust may invest up to 20% of its total assets in municipal securities rated below investment grade or that are unrated but determined by the Adviser to be of comparable quality at the time of purchase. The Trust investment advisor is Invesco Advisers, Inc.
