Computer Science Course, no that would baffle me, I did Physics at Teddy Hall mate, in the days when tutors still followed bizarre religious beleifs such as the absence of an ether through which light and the universe travels, that the majority of matter in the universe was both invisible and unknown required to explain that why spiralling galaxies don´t fly apart in the absence of either an ether or a rotating gravitional refernce. They are currently re-doing the Michelson Morely experiment that proved there was no ether after almost a hundred years of ignoring some obvious experimental error and subsequent experiments that found ether but were ignored becuase they didn´t fit the current religious belief system. Instantaneous communication over vast distances via quantum entanglement despite Special relitivity saying nothing travels faster than light (coming to a bank near you soon as a perfect way to exchange cryptographic keys). This is my favourite, but one simple solution is if we live in a world of more than 3 space dimension, in such a world quauntum entanglement simple means, linked through a dimension other than the 3 we percieve. The whole of the elecroweak (electromagnetism and nuclear weak force (chemical reactionbs) theory can be derived through the action of gravity in an 11 dimensional space. And the beleif that we know what gravity ios even though we can only measure it to 3 significant places. and the pioneer spacecraft are currently a lot further away than they should be if our models of gravity were correct, they are beginning to accelerate away rather than continue to slow.
