RE: Balancing the perspective...It sure would balance the debate here if some of the details of the TWU contract proposals, which apparently were made at the outset of the negotiations, were presented now.
Anyone care to give us a feel for what the TWU specifically was proposing?
And would anyone know whether the TWU have recently put forward their latest proposals in the ongoing round of discussions with TELUS?
This way we could all see what TELUS is offering and what the TWU is asking for.
And this way we could see whether the two sides are actually that far apart, other than simply posturing and egos about which side moves first.
