Why is Cramer on TV if everything he touches turns to gold? A guy like Soros or Buffet does not need a TV spot as literally everything they touch turns to gold so they are so busy managing money and funds that a TV show would be a very unwelcome distraction. I would submit to you that the folks who are really great modern investors are nearly unknown to the masses as they are busy quietly making money. Cramer is a mouthpiece plain and simply. He is either in it for ego gratification or to create buy/sell pressure in the direction needed for big boys to accumulate or distribute their shares. Just like analysts and their upgrades and downgrades. BTW that doesn't mean I don't think he can move markets in the short term, anyone with a large enough platform can.
