RE: Ohhh, Sheeeeiiit

RE: Ohhh, SheeeeiiitI just sent this one off to the church involved in the attack on Cerro San Pedro. The Presbyterian Church in Canada 50 Wynford Dr., Toronto, Ontario M3C 1J7 800-619-7301 | 416-441-1111 | Fax: 416-441-2825 pccweb@presbycan.ca You people are the biggest group of hypocritical a-sholes I have seen in a blue moon. When was the last time your churches spent so much as a nickel on the people who live in that area of San Luis Potosi? Ever been in the Campo? Seen what a Mexican Camposino will have to do to get help for simple things? The Metalica guys are good actors. I knew them from the period 1996=98 when I ran an office in SLP for Minera Terra Nova. They have built a clinic for the folks of the town there. What have you done for them? Do you figure that your internet attack on mining in Mexico by CDN firms is a benefit to those folks? Before you continue with your environemtnal compaign, your touchie feelie routine, please get off your dead a-ses and go there. Take a buck and a piece of your time and of your life and do something for the people living in grinding poverty, without adequate water supplies, no medical, limited school services and the rest. I worked in Eastern Guanajuato in the mountians around Xichu for two years. Never saw one of your people. I employed 80 guys doing minerals exploration. I set up dental plans for their families, the first time most of the people in the area had seen a dentist. We built new water supplies for the villagers in several of the local ejidos. On my weekends I helped build a new school in a village named Palomas. Miners, both American ones and Canadian ones, are not some sort of monsters, we are the guys who live on the ground in those communities. So you people have chatted with some Green group and decided of shout about environmental Justice. Are you building any water treatment plants for towns like Zacatecas? Mexican Miners polluted all the ground water in that city with large amounts of mercury. So is your church sending aid to protect the drinking water supplies there? You sit on your wealth, stomp on those who are actually there and then beef that anybody who wants to offer work, training, health and dental care and make a buck at the same time, is evil and greedy. Well show us the color of your cash and the sweat off your brow and maybe you have the right to babble.
