As of September 30, 2015, the Company had the rights to 16 unpatented lode mining claims in three claim blocks consisted of 320 acres on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands in Esmeralda County, Nevada, located near the operating Mineral Ridge gold project (the North Springs Properties).

(OTC BB: GPXM) Precious and strategic metal deposits mining company, Golden Phoenix Minerals, Inc. announced Wednesday that it has received approvals from the Humboldt County Commissioners and Planning Commission to operate the Ashdown Moly Mine and Mill Project. The company said that building permits have been issued to erect the structure that will house the mill machinery. Shares of GPXM closed Wednesday's trading session at $0.195 on volume of 1.72 million shares.
