Sonic writeup in Business in Vancouver..Laura Byspalko was kind enough to mail me a copy of the issue. A couple things stood out... Waste is cleaned up through Sonic's machinery at a rate of 30 tonnes a day. Sonic charges $680 per tonne of waste to decontaminate a site. Sumel said it costs the company roughly $340 a tonne to process the waste.
