RE: PummellingI own shares in Hi Pays and have kept in touch with the company. It is possible that the distribtion will be cut, but if not, the value of the shares are likely to decline. The spokesperson for Lawrence Asset Mgt indicated that in order to return the $20 per unit value to the holders of these shares in 2008 and continue at this level of distribution until then, the market would have to rally significantly. They need to realize a 25% gain per year in order to meet the above target. However, if you are optimistic this could be a good buy at present values. I bought on the last dip below $12 so still ahead even at these prices.
