Basic Questions

Basic QuestionsI have only started to read up on U. and I have a few questions on this stock in particular. 1) Last week the president of U.P.C. on a RobTV interview stated in reply to a question that they did not intend to buy and sell, but just to accumulate inventory and hold on to it. In the case of a 'gold fund' or the like I can see this approach to work as there is a wide market so that you can assume that they could liquidate the stock at prevailing prices anytime. But in an essentially illiquid market such as U with very few players I wonder if the market will value the units at prevalent prices once the original excitement has passed. What do you know about how they are going to operate? 2) The practical aspects of the operations are to be run by the management of DEN who have a responsibility to their shareholders to maximize their profit. Aren't they going to be conflicted in this respect? 3) Have they already bought or contracted for inventory? If not, then is the expectation of profit on the units limited to the appreciation of the inventory when being held after acquisition? If so, how do we explain the premium paid for the shares above the equivalent of cash held by the corp.? I hope I don't sound negative. I initially bought some shares and some warrants but then when I realized how uncertain I am about the setup I decided to get out and do some proper research. (Was no pain at all; 10% on the units and a clean double on the warrants in less than two weeks.) While I realize that I have to dig in to some research myself I would appreciate any answers received here. TIA!
