This is the first mining stock I have ever followed.
In other areas of the investment world, there is a test of "Material fact" that attaches to the necessity to report news.
Is it a practice in the mining world that the results of every hole drilled represent "material" facts to a mining company?
Obviously a positive result will impact the overall fortunes of a company and must be reported.
As a consequence, seems to me a lack of a report is evidence of a lack of significant mineralization with regard to any specific probe.
Not sure how realistic it would be for any given mine to report the results of every hole drilled, nor does the lack of ore in any given hole necessarily result in a loss of overall value.
There won't be ore in every hole drilled. Does that really need to be reported?
