a few things...
We would be in a much stronger position if the June 30th declared short position was still HIGH...ie: a million or more. This would suggest that whomever has been shorting into the new issue has not covered.
At this point, I frankly doubt we'll see a large short position remaining. If in fact one or more institutions didnt cover at the financing, then we would most certainly already see a big bid in the stock, especially considering there seems to be quite a bit if stock for sale by someone at these levels.
I think that the majority of the anonymous selling is coming out of one major institution liquidating their position. It will be interesting to see who it is when the institutional holdings lists are updated.
I still maintain that we are in for a significant bounce on technicals alone once this seller is out of the way. Especially if we continue to see the company build on this PRDT / MacoPharma storyline... My honest assessment of todays press release is that it is one of the most professional I have ever seen out of Prometic, I am impressed by that.
