RE: Potential Suitor for PGM There are differing philosophies regarding paying money to shareholders via dividends. And many differing scenarios via which to effect the 2nd option. 1) Pay dividends and return some of the profits back to shareholders. This would certainly increase the value of the shares. 2) Do not pay dividends, but use the money instead to acquire additional assets. If prudently done, this too can potentially increase the value of the shares. One possibility is to creat a wholly owned subsidiary that uses the profits to purchase royalty income.
