Drilling to begin...........Currie Rose Reports Second Drilling Program at Mabale Hills Tanzania
Monday July 18, 10:11 am ET
ST. CATHARINES, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - July 18, 2005) - Currie Rose Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CUI - News) will commence drilling immediately at the Mwamazengo gold discovery on the Mabale Hills project in central Tanzania.
The program is expected to consist of 1,400 metres of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling and 1,200 metres of RAB (Rotary Air Blast) drilling.
The RC drill holes will target the potential "down dip" mineralisation intersected during March 2005, where 4 RC drill holes intersected exceptional near surface gold mineralisation over a 225 metre strike length as tabled below. Extensions to the current strike will also be targeted.

The RAB drilling program will investigate the Sisu River anomaly situated 10km north northeast of the Mwamazengo discovery where rock chip samples collected by Sub-Sahara returned gold grades up to 553g/t gold. This anomaly is also 6km along strike from Gallery Gold's 550,000 ozs Kitongo gold deposit.
The Company and Australian joint venture partner Sub-Sahara Resources NL are optimistic that this program will yield further quality results, priming the project for further drilling later in the year.
