Big Lay off party
Big Lay off party was held in the Claimstaker Hotel last week. A hugely successfull event with broken glasses and chairs being picked up from off the road the following morning. All miners have left town apparently. A few beleagured mill personnel remaing to mill the stockpiles but with head grades less than 0.1 ounces, their wages alone will eat up any revenue.
