RE: I think a JV/Takeover of HMSL is imminent
Sniper...
I agree on your observations. I think we have a tired and frustrated shareholder base that has become an entirely "show me the money" crowd. I just dont think people are prepared to speculate to the degree required in this market, especially with all the other sector opportunity and the string of bunglings and disappointments....
HERE's THE KEY in my opinion... the company is now arguably as fundamentally good as its been in the last three years. Despite the fact that the share price doesnt reflect it, I think the near term future looks quite promising. Ironically, the stock is probably as undervalued as its been in 5 years yet people are LONG and TIRED.
I feel quite strongly that a HEMOSOL deal is going to get done... not because I know anything I shouldnt but because of what PLI and HMSL have told us recently and more importanly because it all makes good strategic sense. For any Major fractionator to be able to buy the technology and the capacity that Hemosol provides, at the price that it apparently will command, is a major coup.
I am very encouraged that things are taking this turn... If a deal does get done then it is truly GAME ON in this sector for Prometic because the other fractionators will literally be forced to act. They simply cant afford one of the competitors having the huge head start on both the purity and yield that Cascade apparently offers.
