EDR at Sept Silver Summit Well, at least EDR is going to the big silver pow wow in Idaho coming up in Sept. Perhaps Mr. Cooke, who really should know better than to fudge the numbers a bit, can get the PR machine operating and into high gear. Two of my other silver producers, First Majestic and ECU Silver are NOT on the list. Wonder what that's all about.

The Silver Summit 2005 to Present a Galaxy of Silver Stars
The world's leading lights in primary silver production, exploration, investment and silver's myriad uses will gather by the river near northern Idaho's fabled silver fields for three days of conferencing and festivity Sept. 22, 23 and 24 -- Silver Summit 2005. Theme for this year's Summit is "Silver Rocks."
This third-annual Silver Summit will feature presentations by CEOs and IR representatives of the Americas' top silver producers and explorers, including Hecla Mining Co. CEO Phil Baker, Pan American Silver CEO Ross Beaty, Coeur d'Alene Mines CEO Dennis Wheeler, Silver Standard IR Vice-President Paul Lafontaine. All told, nearly 40 primary silver companies will be represented as presenters, exhibitors or sponsors, at Silver Summit 2005.
As in previous years' Silver Summits, conference attendees have the option to tour the underground workings of one of several of the nation's deepest-shaft operating silver mines on Sept. 22; and a Sept. 24 surface tour of the Coeur d'Alene Mining District culminating in a re-dedication of the Center of the Universe in downtown historic Wallace that evening replete with live music by "Mogambo Guru" Richard Daughty and "Boogie-Woogie Man" Steve Dore, who will perform Dore's original tunes advocating a return to silver and gold as money.
Presentations by Daughty -- the self-described "angriest guy in economics," ScotiaBank commodity analyst Patricia Mohr, University of Idaho Dean of Mines Emeritus and geologist Earl Bennett, Silver-Investor newsletter-writer David Morgan, Silver Is Money writer Jason Hommel, Liberty Coin program author Bernard von Nothaus, newly-published The Silver Pennies book author David Bond, and renown silver-in-health expert Dr. Eric Rentz will round out the three-day event.
"There's something for everyone with an interest in silver at this year's Silver Summit," said director Shauna Hillman, of Wallace. "Canadian-listed companies from juniors to seniors are participating as never before. All major U.S. silver producers are coming. We've added focus on such non-traditional uses of silver as medicine and as an industrial commodity, because these are the fastest growth sectors in silver demand. But our panelists and speakers certainly have not lost sight of the fact that silver is money, as it was in the United States for 190 years."
"This is a different sort of investment conference, because participants have the chance to lay their hands on real, working silver mines, meet the people who dig up the rock from a mile underground, and walk through the living history of one of North America's longest-lived silver districts," Hillman continued. "Plus, we intend to have fun."
