RE: Cross

RE: CrossHi. It means that Paradigm bought and sold. In other words it was on both sides of the transaction as seller and purchaser. In most cases this means that Paradigm has an institutional client or fund that wants a large chunk of shares. For technical reason that are beyond me, transfer of shares to the client is done through a cross. Crosses, very often, are good signs, depending on the price of the cross. More often than not, at least in my experience, the share price is "forced" down for a cross because the purchaser wants the shares at a discount to (the retail) market.
