To help launch this dream machine for regional gamers, 'Ruby', the digital super star of ATI's 'The Doublecross' and 'Dangerous Curves' demos, is touring live the five-day event visiting a number of ATI add-in board partner stands including Sapphire, HIS, Connect 3D, PC Partner Gigabyte, MSI and DFI where Crossfire demos will be conducted. The two 'Ruby' look-alikes are also entertaining visitors at channel partner stands like Golden Systems, Comtronix, Mishal Al Sudairy, Al Yousuf Distributions, and Trigon.
ATI's in-house team of designers and developers worked closely with an established broadcast and film design studio to bring Ruby to life and design a one-of-a-kind demo that would showcase the innovative capabilities of ATI graphics hardware.
'To create a first class 3D graphics demo capable of wowing the design community takes a lot of hard work and collaboration. By leveraging RhinoFX's extensive experience in film and broadcast to create Ruby, we can now showcase ATI's technology to a much broader audience than ever before,' said Chris Hook, Head of Public Relations, Europe, Middle East and Africa, ATI Technologies.
'Ruby epitomizes the level of realism and sheer graphical impact that can be delivered in a 3D Gaming experience with ATI's Crossfire,' he added.
Crossfire combines the power of ATI's Radeon® Xpress chipsets for Intel and AMD processors, a standard Radeon® graphics processor and a Radeon® CrossFire Edition graphics card to bring massive performance and image quality to gamers.
