Why would 'X' go down?

I'm looking to buy this stock. It seems like a rock solid buy (if such a thing exists in markets). Why do I think this? The TSX is going nowhere and will always have customers etc... I can't see it losing too much. Am I naive? Can anyone outline the potential risks here? I'd be interested in any or all opinions.
