Hello China...Adeptron Technologies Appoints Dr. Luke Chan to the Company's Board of Directors

TORONTO, Oct. 12 /CNW/ - F. Michael Marti, President and CEO of Adeptron
Technologies Corporation (ATQ: TSX) ("Adeptron" or the "Company"), a
specialist at delivering integrated product solutions and support to the
global technology and electronics industry, announced today that Dr. M.W. Luke
Chan has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors.
Dr. Luke Chan is currently the Associate Vice-President of International
Affairs at McMaster University and a Professor of Finance and Business
Economics at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. He is one
of the pioneers in management education and training in China and has authored
numerous papers and textbooks on management education and reform, which have
received awards and acclaim from academic and business readers alike. Dr. Chan
has been distinguished as a Honourary Guest Professor or Honourary Professor
by Tsinghua University in Beijing, Fudan University in Shanghai, Nankai
University in Tianjin and the University of Science and Technology in Beijing.
These honours were conferred on him in recognition of his contribution and
tireless effort in developing management/business training programs, MBA
programs and executive training programs with these universities.
As a result of his considerable Asia Pacific related experience and his
wide network of contacts in that region's academic and business circles,
Dr. Chan has been retained as a business consultant by various organizations.
The list of his corporate clients includes: Nortel, Otis Pacific Asia, IBM
Canada, IBM China, Liburdi Engineering Limited, JNE Consulting Inc., Escalator
Handrail Company (Shanghai), Schneider Electric (China) Inv. Co. Ltd., and
Hoechst (China) Inv. Co. Ltd., Dr. Chan has been a consultant to many
government and public organisations such as: the Canadian International
Development Agency, the International Trade Centre (ITC) of the United
Nations, the Canadian Federation of Canadian Municipalities, Industry Canada,
China Light Industry Bureau, Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, and
the Beijing Youth League.
F. Michael Marti, President and CEO of Adeptron commented: "Dr. Chan will
be a valuable ambassador for the Company both within the North American and
Asia-Pacific business communities. His network of contacts with business
leaders in the Asia Pacific region was developed during the time he was a
professor and mentor teaching many of them the skills and principles they have
employed to bring about the rapid growth of the economic power of that region.
Adeptron is becoming a company with a global business reach and Dr. Chan will
be a great asset to the Company as it develops its network of strategic
offshore business partners, particularly in China. Adeptron's supply chain
management service offerings will be enhanced as we begin to utilize
Dr. Chan's strategic knowledge of "how to do business with China and in
China".
As part of a planned evolution of Adeptron's Board of Directors, Bob
Blackshaw will be leaving the Board effective December 1, 2005.

During his tenure Adeptron has benefited from his input to the Board's
decisions and its directions to our management team. His involvement has
contributed to the Company's turnaround and current strategic direction. We
