You are invited to view the fourth forum in a series organized and hosted by the Canadian Centre for Energy Information [Centre for Energy] and the Canada Institute at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. This event will engage Canadian scholars, legislators and energy industry stakeholders with their American counterparts in discussions about the current situation in North America regarding oil supply and petroleum production, with a specific focus on the oil sands.
The expert panel will include Canada and U.S. government representatives, such as Karen Harbert, Assistant Secretary of Policy and International Affairs, U.S. Department of Energy and The Hon. Greg Melchin, Minister of Energy, Government of Alberta, as well as business leaders and industry representatives: Aidan Mills, Vice President, Strategy, Origination and Commercial, BP; Andrew Stephens, Vice President Corporate Planning and Communications, Petro-Canada; Lloyd Byrne, Managing Director, Morgan Stanley; and Mike Ashar, Executive Vice President, Refining and Marketing, Suncor Energy. Greg Stringham, Vice-President, Markets and Transportation at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers will be the moderator.
