The small caps move 10-12 per cent when JS really talks 'em up and it's a hot market. However, Thursday's SP price movement was before JS even appeared on CBC and during a cold period for the market. Generally, small caps like TYS, SLG and SOR move up, at most, 3-5 per cent on the day before JS makes a recommendation public. Highly unlikely today's move had much to do with JS.
