Sweeping the Street

Sweeping the Street Yesterday’s volume of 75,000 shares was taken down buy a single buyer. The buyer cleaned out all the shares offered above the market at $0.40. (Subsequently, another slightly larger offer came in after the purchase.) Interestingly, there were eight separate sellers on that transaction. Suffice it to say that the buyer acted with an unusual degree of conviction. Speaking for myself, it isn’t often that I have acted in a similar capacity, and swept the street of the existing amount of available stock. But I can remember the last time I did do just that, two years ago. At the time I had a similar degree of conviction that yesterday’s buyer apparently had, and I am currently sitting with better than a 200% gain on that purchase.
