this is what we have got in fuzzy PGA TOUR GOLF PROFESSIONAL FUZZY ZOELLER ANALYZING NEW
ENDORSEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
New Albany, IN - Dave Lobeck, President & COO of Fuzzy Zoeller
Productions, Inc., announced today that due to the recent decision by Daiwa
Golf Company to close their U.S. operations, they are now in the process of
analyzing new endorsement partnerships for Fuzzy.
"While we were very disappointed in Daiwa's decision, we are both excited and
encouraged by the interest we have received from numerous companies
showing an interest in aligning themselves with Fuzzy," said Lobeck. "Fuzzy
is still one of the most popular and well-liked players on the PGA TOUR. His
fan mail and gallery sizes will attest to that."
Included in the endorsement partnership would be a number of personal
appearances by Zoeller, along with visibility on his golf bag.
"Fuzzy is unique in the world of professional athletics. When you meet him,
you immediately feel as though you have made a friend. That is one of the
reasons he is so sought after for personal appearances and corporate outings,"
continued Lobeck. "Couple that fact with the number of people that see his golf
bag both on television and on the tour, and at corporate and charity outings,
and you have a package that will definitely pay huge dividends."
While Zoeller continues to be one of the most popular players on the PGA
TOUR, many people are already looking ahead to his debut on the Senior PGA
TOUR in 2 ½ years. "Well, it is our opinion that Fuzzy is still extremely
competitive on the PGA TOUR, and definitely a threat to win anytime he tees it
up," said Lobeck. "However, we are also cognizant of the fact that Fuzzy's
peak popularity years are still ahead of him, which for me is an exciting
thought. The endorsement partners that we have now will definitely benefit from
this in the future, and in a huge way."
Lobeck suggests that any corporations that have an interest in entertaining an
endorsement relationship with Zoeller contact him immediately to initiate a
dialogue. "It is my hope and belief that we will have something completed
within the next few weeks," said Lobeck.
