RE: juicy dividend 7 cents

RE: juicy dividend 7 cents Not too shabby when you take into account for example Nova Scotia (my home province) our monopoly power company EMERA has an annual dividend of .89 cents - just .05 cents more than our little trust company which equates to .2225 cents per quarter compared to our .21 cents on a quarterly basis. If you wish to look at it on a monthly basis that is just under .07 1/2 cents compared to our .07 cents - go figure when you look at the stock price for EMERA which is in the high teens ($19.50) or there abouts it does not take a financial whiz to figure out which one is a better buy plus the fact our .84 cents annually is not taxable whereas the Emera dividend is although at a lower rate now that the feds are looking to buy our votes - I still refuse to vote for a "dishonest" federal government - or are they all the same. "Liberal - Tory - Same Old Story". For every Emera stock @ $19.50 you could buy almost 2.5 trust units in OUR trust company for a monthly dividend for that amount of money invested of .17 cents compared to Emara's .07 1/2 cents - you do the math - hope you all have a good week-end - I know I will knowing that in less than a week my investment in ENERVEST has increased by better tha 8% from my purchase price of $7.30 to a close yesterday of $8.00 and a interday high in the range of $8.50 - not too too bad plus the fact all the new trusts management have managed to align us with I can see $10.00 plus by the end of the year with no hesitation in that statement what-so-ever - once again - have a good one.(HW)
