dgh7Your comments regarding the 60% decline figure are born out if you check the initial production of the Find Pembina wells. I was giving them the benefit of doubt, assuming that the decline in rates are due to plant restrictions. If William Davis did indeed say that initial production declines are 60%, then the initial rates shown on accumap are real. The wells have not been on long enough to estimate where they will flatten out. You should ask Find for more info regarding rate declines and pressures. If the declines are initially 60% and then flat, this would support a tight gas reservoir which is why they are going to reduced spacing. (128 ha drainage). By drilling so many wells, you would expect one in five to be boomers, three in five to be O.K. and one in five dogs. That fits with their rates so far. Before pay-out I would estimate they have found 60 Bcf, rates, once stabilised will probably average 450 mcf/d.
