i spoke with Jim  a while ago and retract my earlier statements aperantly they are unable to do a NR as they have not received the official paperwork from BLM (The actual pieces of paper) and acording to him they cant release the news until they are in posession of them.Go figure, it all seams a little backwards to me but I  guess we just have to go with that !!? right or wrong It a ...more

TSX does not like halts to last more than a few hours. They would never agree to one lasting days, and besides, considering what we're talking about a halt seems rather silly. The news is not a surprise and is widely expected.

Way to bring the mood down, Debbie DownerHate to break it to you,  but based on the daily list of halted securities from the tsx website; ftp://ftp.cdnx.com/Securities/suspended_halted_securities.txt there are plenty of securities that have been halted for several days, up to a month even.This news is not a surprise, but it has been anticipated for a long while now. nadst3r, I think you're getting confused between Trading halts requested by companies (very brief) and halts initiated by the TSX or Ontario Securities Commission because a company has violated securities rules, is in financial trouble, has failed to make required filings, has failed to pay TSX fees or whatever. As with dealing with a government agency like BLM, you would think BZA management would have an agent in place to receive these documents to make sure all the "I"'s are dotted and the "T"'s are crossed.As an example....a year ago one of my investments was held up by a Consent Decree With The Nevada Division Of Environmental Protection.
