Linton spoke

and he figures Canopy, Aphria and Cronos will be on the survivor's list according to a post on the WEED sight of SH.  He was the guy that oversaw the deal with Acreage.  By my reckoning Acreage is going to be a critical part of the big picture for Canopy and they have got to be in the US.  Canopy is active and very likely gave direction to Acreage for their recent acquisitions in addition to the Terrascend deal that Canopy committed to.  Canopy also took positions for NY acquisitions of hemp and cbd companies that can be rapidly switched to THC when the Feds get over themselves and butt out.  Crazy sh!t happening in US politics right now.  A lot of people want Trump out, Democrats are backing Biden, who appears to me to be losing it, as in alztheimers or dementia and the election could get backed off because of the coronavirus.  Bernie is the next option for Democratic voters who is ready to change politics, like Trump did, but has more political savvy than any of them.  If the democrats keep pushing for Biden, you've got to wonder if they are thinking right or just have personal agendas.  My opinion is that he is losing it!  Bernie is pro-pot and the rest of 'em are steering around pot legalization like it is a fresh pile of dogsh!t.  The US is going to need all it can get to get the economy going again and a good US greenrush would fit the bill.  How many US investors would love to be able to invest in marijuana companies for rec and health, but mostly profits.  Acreage is a good deal for Canopy and critical to their plan and it is a heck of a deal for the clout they carry.  It is publicly listed on the CSE and has a high percentage of US investors that will invest in it when legal at the Federal level.

Biden will win the Democratic nomination and then beat Trump in the fall. Look for the Dems to put in place a vice president of their choosing with full knowledge that Biden will be declared unfit shortly after the election and the party's choice for VP will become president. Just my 2 cents.
