looks like
Acreage is getting a little of the magic along with ACB. ACB is big on volume in the US today after a fantastic day Friday and up 50% today. That's for a company that got caught in the downdraft of marijuana stocks just like Acreage did. The volume and uptick for the last couple of trading days for ACB makes me think that somebody knows something, like maybe the Feds are going to straighten out their legislation that is weighing anchor on marijuana stocks. Somebody thinks it is a short squeeze and I am cheering for that. I hope they all burn in hell because it is mostly a deep pockets club who stacked the deck for themselves. Self-styled investors can't really play the shortgame and shortselling has contributed to wild swings in valuation and algo trading by brokers and bankers who also skew the sentiment of the value of stocks. Acreage's beatdown is way overdone imho and the deal that is inked with Canopy to merge with Acreage is essential for maintaining the leadership in the marijuana industry. If not Acreage, Canopy will have to come up with different MSO's to solidify our position in the US. ACB's investor interest and uptick in sp is just an inkling of what can happen when the great US greenrush gets launched. Anticipatory, good word for greenrush investors. glta and dyodd

Canopy does not have a choice. Once it is federally permissible, Canopy must aquire Acreage. Read the deal. Also Canopy, at its sole discretion, can waive the triggering event and aquire acreage any time they want......again read the deal.
