Lots of dollars moving towards MSOs
sadly not so much Acreage. Investors are seeing the future as federally legal pot in the US, moreso with Kamella who seems to be in favour of legal federal decriminalization and MORE banking, aka The Trigger. US investors are mostly sitting on the sidelines right now as far as investing and we saw what the lack of banking has done for the US greenrush. Our own Acreage ponied up usury rates of 60% plus finders fee for short term financing for a purchase, which woke up Canopy to redo "the deal" with another financial borrowing option. Trump is desperately trying to get it right for his campaign and I still think he might steal the thunder of US legalization at the Federal level before the election from the Democrats. While Harris is pro-pot she seems to be tagging it with racial perks for blacks to get first shot at financing and undoing the criminality and their record for marijuana posession. The greenrush in the US just needs to decriminalize at the Federal level and swing the gates open to access to all the business tools for potpreneurs like banking, loans, brokering, advertising and fast tracking evidence for health use, would be big too.
Acreage is badly beaten down and I can't imagine the deal with Canopy not happening. There is a serious separation of the good and bad mso's and the ones that investors like are gaining ground. Acreage seems to have been forgotten by investors and it is also a buy right now but that is just my humble opinion. Canopy isn't giving up on the leadership role and their future has Acreage in it becaue the US is essential and they know it. Canopy has a stable of products to bring to the US and are angling right now to get brands on shelves, where allowed. Anybody that follows my posts know that I am convinced that infused beverages are going to earn the lion's share of revenues and Canopy has a line of them and have made mention of getting whatever they can on shelves in States where allowed. glta and dyodd and have a good weekend!
